Auction Inquisitor makes researching a seller much easier. I still do my own checking but when I run AI, I usually don't have to look any further. You will be scammed on eBay. The only question is when.

Before you place that eBay® bid, wouldn't you like to know if the seller is legitimate, if they are trustworthy, if you will receive what you pay for, or if the account was setup by a crook or if it was hijacked? You can avoid scams on eBay if you have the right information.

Auction Inquisitor will instantly check auctions for over 200 common and not-so-common signs of fraud plus check the seller's history(not just the recent feedback you see in their profile) and show you a report of the results with comments.

I designed Auction Inquisitor Software to help you identify fraudulent sellers and problem sellers. It is based on my ten years of eBay experience as a professional buyer and seller as well as my investigation into online fraud and my assistance of thousands of scam victims.

Auctions by scammers and problem sellers have many traits that can be used to identify them before you place a bid.

Use the Auction Inquisitor Software to quickly and easily analyze an auction before you risk your money. Simply let the Auction Inquisitor Software automatically analyze the auction and show you a detailed report of problems in the auction and with the seller.

Auction Inquisitor is much faster and easier than researching yourself plus it never forgets to check the first or the last feedback ratings of a seller.

Never place a bid on an auction without first running it through Auction Inquisitor to check for warning signs of fraudulent auctions.

Here it is! Our Seven Keys to avoid being scammed on eBay®. If you follow just these seven keys, your eBay® experience will be much safer.

7. Avoid auctions with bad grammar or that are in all CAPS. These are common signs of both scammers and problem sellers.

6. Beware of any auction that requests Western Union or any unusual payments. Scammers frequently request payments by means that have no buyer protection.

5. Always research a seller before buying. Always research a buyer before shipping. Bad or fraudulent members often have a history of problems.

4. Beware of any auction where the seller insists on contact outside of eBay®. Any seller who tries to sell direct, outside of the eBay® auction, is offering the same item to everyone who contacts them without shipping anything.

3. Beware of any auction that has any sense of urgency or that tries to play on your emotions. Auctions should sell goods, not a story.

2. Never click on links in any email whether it is related to eBay® PayPal® or anything else. Scammers frequently use fake emails to trick people into revealing their eBay® and PayPal® passwords.

1. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Don't agree with these? Want a deeper explanation? See this article at Auction-Safety.org.
